About this piece
A flat-well plate with a low rim, sized so a full dinner does not crowd the edge. The pale satin glaze is thin enough that iron in the clay burns through as fine speckle — that freckling is the clay, not a pattern, so it lands differently on every plate.
Because the speckle depends on where the plate sat in the kiln, plates from different batches will not match exactly. If you need a matching set, buy them from the same batch.
